Windows 10 will not allow any region changes to the DVD driver

Hi All

After updating to Windows 10, I noticed the region setting of the DVD diver defaulted to Region 2.

I am from Australia and I should be automatically set up on region 4. Anyway I logged in as an Administrator (as advised in previous posts) but I keep getting the error message: "Unable to update region setting: The drive reports that it requires media of the destination region (region 4) so please insert appropriate media and try again".

I currently have 4 changes remaining and I am a little disappointed I cannot not watch any movies :(

Should I just revert back to factory setting? Or is there something else I could do to fix the issue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nyima

Tried both methods, with no success. I still get the the same error message as before. "Unable to update region setting: The drive reports that it requires media of the destination region (region 4) so please insert appropriate media and try again".

I even tried changing the region setting while the DVD was inserted.
