windows 10 user folder locarion

Hei,

Does someone know to change user folder location in windows 10 for example C:\Users\username to D:\username.

Try leaving the folder c:\users\username and just change the location of all folders in it to another drive.

Click start, settings (gear symbol), System

Storage

Change items on the right menu to d: drive

It's easier to create a new local user account with the preferred name instead.

However, if you want to rename the existing profile folder name, there is more work. This might help.
