Hello, if you guys are still having issues with your Sound Blaster X-Fi sound cards in Windows 10.
Have you tried using the custom sound card support pack?
Google search for support pack 3.7 and if those don't work, try using 3.8 SE.
Don't use version 3.8 SE, without trying 3.7 first, as I only use 3.7 and they have more features, also 3.7 is much larger in size, so it has better support for your sound card.

Make sure to read down through it first, in that link.
This should work for most sound cards, if not, try checking for new sound card drivers.
Those were supposed to be the last supported by the user that made the custom sound card drivers, but it looks like there might be some new ones. Though.. because there was info on it being the last supported version as 3.7, I didn't think to check.. I checked
several times in 2016 but that was about it, in 2017 I didn't check because I figured that was all there was going to be since it said the last supported final version was 3.7, with the 3.8 SE being some off drivers that don't work properly for my sound card,
and the size of the download was very small.
For the 3.8 SE custom sound card drivers pack, here's the link if you're curious.

Here's a link for the forum thread with him in it from 2015, make sure to read through it to the last page.

If those don't work, use version 3.7, and if you have a different sound card that doesn't work with 3.7, try checking the blogs to the right of the webpage in the link for version 3.7, the first link at the top. :)
The blogs to the right, should show different version in 2015 for other sound card types, and some drivers in 2017, be sure to check them out.
Such as the Sound Blaster Audigy SE series sound card, here are the custom sound card support pack drivers version 6.1.
Be sure to read all through his first comment, all the way to the bottom of it, before downloading anything, or installing anything.

Here are the Sound Blaster Audigy SE series sound card custom support pack drivers version 6.2, that came out in 2017, if these don't work, try the link above.

Looks like a newer version came out, version 4.0 and 4.0 SE for 2017, though.. I haven't tested these yet, but I can guarantee that the 3.7 drivers in the link, should work just fine, and installing an updated Windows Update of a new Windows 10 build version,
should also have any fixes since then for the sound card, you won't need to re-install the sound card drivers from 3.7, even with a new build update, as long as the drive wasn't formatted, or you didn't do a Windows 10 refresh / reset and so on. This should
fix your issue with version 3.7, I'm going to test version 4.0 and see if they work, but again.. version 3.7 works just fine. :)
It should work for almost all sound cards with version 3.7, if not.. try the 3.8 SE.
Haven't had to update from the sound card support pack version 3.7 in years, had no issues so far, and sounds great. :)
My sound card is the Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtremegamer Fidelity Professional Series sound card, had to use the custom drivers to use the sound card in Windows 10 when it came out in 2015 for users to use. :)
Though keep in mind, these sound card custom support pack drivers, are supposed to work on a number of sound cards, so try them out starting with 3.7, keep version 3.7 as a backup after downloading, and try the support pack 4.0 after testing 3.7 and so on.
:)
When testing other sound card support pack drivers, be sure that it removes any old sound card support pack drivers before or during install of any new sound card support pack drivers. I'm sure it will automatically update with no issues, but always be sure
it removed anything old or rather, from a previous version installed, rather newer or not.
Here are the USB Sound Blaster Support Pack drivers, if that's what you have.

Be sure to check for new sound card custom driver versions, that might not be the latest version and don't know for the USB Sound Blaster series, hope that works for your sound card.
For testing the Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card custom drivers version 4.0, here is the link.
Again if these don't work right, you can revert back to version 3.7 and that should work just fine. :)

And here is the link for the sound card custom support drivers version 4.0 SE, again.. it might be like with version 3.7 and 3.8 SE, so be sure to test both 4.0 and 4.0 SE to see what works best, keep in mind that one set of sound card drivers could be missing
features, and / or the size could be different of the download.

And here are some other kinds of drivers for other sound cards not Creative related, from 2017.
Such as the Asus Xonar, and other C-Media Oxygen HD cards.

Install instructions for your version 3.7 sound card drivers. -
With the sound card drivers custom support pack version 3.7, I install most (specific) features and the Creative Console Launcher.
Then after restarting the PC, I right click the sound icon near the desktop clock, at the bottom right corner of the desktop screen in Windows 10, or 7, and if you have a digital sound card, this is what you do after installing the sound card drivers.
Right click the sound icon mentioned, then click on (Playback Devices) > click on Speakers or whatever your sound card name is for the x-fi, then select the default button if it isn't already set. After that, go into the properties by right clicking or double
clicking, from the Speakers / Sound Card name under Playback Devices.
Select Custom > and then check the (Enable Digital IO).
Press the OK button twice to close out of everything.
Your sound card now has sound, especially if it was digital. :)
Ok now find and open your Creative Console Launcher.
I set these because it sounds great!
Select the tab in the Creative Console Launcher called (X-Fi Crystalizer) and enable it. Don't mess with the bar, it should be in the middle.
Next select the tab (EQ) > and enable it, if it isn't. It should be set by default to (EQ Flat). Set it to (EQ Classical). Wait a moment for the drive to stop loading with everything set. Now close out of the Creative Console Launcher, by clicking the X
on the top right corner.
Be sure to restart the PC asap, so that it saves the settings, for everything you set, this will save what you set absolutely, for the Creative Console Launcher and so on.
Ok so very simple, just enable your digital sound, next time you need to know, and the settings from the Creative Console Launcher, 2 easy steps for next time, using the steps I provided. :)
Once you have it down, it's very easy to do, and very quick. :)
As you can see, there are sound card drivers which should work for most sound cards, all in one comment. :)
I hope this helps you, again try using the custom support pack version 3.7 if other sound card drivers don't help you.
