windows 10 upgrade just stops, no error

Hi I have been trying various ways to get windows 10 in the past day with no luck. Problems are

get windows 10 app- tells me KB2952664 is not installed. Originally this was showing as failed in my update history but have deleted the history and is now showing as installed but error persists.

So I used the media creator tool, all goes ok for about 40min, I then get this screen

I press ok but nothing happens and about 10 seconds later the whole install just disappears from my system and we are back to normal with win 7.

Would appreciate some help as it is driving me nuts, but will have to be patient!

try uninstalling any non-essential language packs.
Press Windows key + X
Click Command Prompt (Admin)

At the command prompt, enter the following command then hit Enter
Lpksetup /u
Exit and restart.

Try running setup again

Hi thanks for that idea but still no luck as it only has English installed. Tried putting the install on a USB but it rejected my windows key.

Never mind 7 still works, no big deal.

Ok I have sorted the problem, let me tell you how. I downloaded Win10 media creator files to a usb stick. I ran the exe from the in win 7 (not via boot). Again it stopped at the same place, I then opened the exe again and it asked to start from where it left off and then carried on and installed Win 10. Just have to sort out some issues with win 10 now.
