Windows 10 slow computer performance: takes 20 min to get login

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down to the issue.

The slowness of the computer may be due to:

1. Application or driver conflicts.
2. Virus attack.
3. Corruptions in hard drive.
4. Hardware failure.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to put the computer in Safe mode and check if the issue persists in Safe mode.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to run System Maintenance troubleshooter which finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

1. Press Windows key and type Troubleshooting.
2. Select Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
3. Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
4. Select System Maintenance.

Also run a full scan of your computer using Microsoft Security Scanner and check if it helps.
