Windows 10 Search Icon suddenly increased in size on new install

This is a new install of windows and after an update the taskbar search icon looks weirdly big.

Does anyone know what caused this and how i could revert this to its original size

ngl I thought this was the cause of malware or something on my desktop since I did not remember it being this big, looking though this thread calmed my nerves

The old icon was a good fit with the other icons.
The new one is so out of place.
The weird thing is that if you select the whole search bar or open the search menu, the old icon is used.

Same happened here after the latest update, and no, it has nothing to do with the Taskbar settings.
Seems like somebody on Microsoft thought "Hey, let's break an already fitted design and ship this weirdly large icon instead".
Jesus!

Edit:
I mean look at this, seems like somebody has chopped off the padding -_-

I rebooted and Windows automatically installed an update. After logging in I noticed this big, fat and plain UGLY search logo on my installation too. Microsoft... Really... You are driving me absolutely nuts with the UI changes on Windows 10. Keep your new Sun Valley design languages OUT of Windows 10!!!!! Windows 10 uses acrylic design with square edges and reveal effects, I do not want to see rounded dropdown menus here, bold icons there, inconsistent animations and ui elements everywhere and worst of all even plain Windows 11 apps thrown over Windows 10.

This is absolutely horrendous and I have seen this trend of ugly UI changes to Windows 10 since 2020 when Windows 10 was supposed to get that Sun Valley UI overhaul which Windows 11 was birthed from. Windows 10 has to stay Windows 10. It's only supported for 2 more years. Why on earth would you make it look like this? What idiot thought "Hmmmm all the icons on the taskbar consist of glyphs made of 1 pixel wide lines. It looks too clean, let's screw it up completely by throwing this fat and huge icon on the taskbar!".

Please please just please can someone give us a registry setting to revert the icon?? To all the people that say "oh just learn to live with it", no shut up, I know this can be reverted but just don't know the best method yet. Uninstall the update, or check what dll file the update replaces that contains the glyph for the search icon, perhaps there is a registry option to revert it. I can't use an OS that makes me nauseous and angry from looking at the taskbar. I'll say it kindly... I H A T E T H I S. I feel like Microsoft is purposefully making Windows 10 ugly and throwing Windows 11 stuff onto Windows 10 to force people to get used to Windows 11 and upgrade. Stop thinking about the wallet Microsoft, give us a proper product. I already have Windows 11 but want to keep 10 too because I love the user interface. Unacceptable! I am suuuper madd!!!

Yeah, I also thought it was malware messing with my PC at first. Such a weird and ugly change for Microsoft to make.
