Windows 10 Pro key

So my wife want's to buy Windows 10 Pro key for her business from some website. I don't believe that this is legal. Can somebody please tell me if it is legal.

Could you provide the link? To be guaranteed you are purchasing a genuine license, do it from within Windows 10 Home if her intention is upgrade an existing machine. Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Go to store. Click the $99 button to make your purchase then follow the on screen wizard. The upgrade will take about 5 to 10 minutes, applications, files and settings preserved. She bought pc parts separately and want's to build it herself, she also has her old 450 GB hard disk where she has windows 10 installed on which she will have in her computer. She bought SSD and want to have Windows on SSD. I don't know if it is possible to transfer Windows from hard to SSD

That site is selling pirated non genuine Windows 10 licenses. Purchase directly from the Microsoft Store. The Windows 10 license currently on the 450 GB hard disk can only be transferred if its a full retail license or was upgraded from a retail Windows 7 or Windows 8 license. Yes it is possible to transfer Windows from HD to SSD. That is considered as a simple hardware upgrade. It is allowed by all Windows licenses. The only time there is an issue is when you replace the motherboard. At that point the activation system considers it a new computer. I've read of one exception to that rule. If your motherboard dies and you replace it with the same make and model of motherboard you can phone MS to get them to allow activation on that "same" computer. Yes, it is possible to legally buy a Windows Pro upgrade license from an internet store (as well as the MS Store). You just have to be able to trust that store. If you have been dealing with it for a while (more than a year ... or so) it is probably safe. Or if you deal with them through amazon. I haven't heard of much of a bootleg market in Windows upgrades. There is an ongoing bootleg market selling Office Pro, actually it is Window Pro Plus they are reselling illegally.

The problem is that she changed motherboard and all components

She changed everything, including motherboard

Windows was original, she bough pc in the store and it came with 8 and she upgraded to 10

And we really don't want to give another 250 dollars for new Windows
