Windows 10 Photos app: "Can't edit we are having trouble opening this file for editing"

some of my photos do not open for editing,instead I'm getting this message " Can't edit We are having trouble opening this file for editing" any help?

Sorry for the Inconvenience caused with Photos app.

Please answer the below questions to assist you better.

1. What is the format of the picture file which you are not able to edit?

2. Did you try coping the file to another location on the computer and then try editing it in the photo app and check?

This issue might occur if you don’t have access to the file or folder, you may please login to the Administrator/Microsoft account and give permissions to the folder as "Full control" to check if it helps.
