Windows-10-Photo Enhance not working

Within the past week my Windows-10-Photo enhance is not working. Is anyone else having this problem and how can I fix it?

Afternoon all.

I am experiencing the exact same problem.The enhance feature does not work.Everything else works correctly.I have tried to reset,repair and have also deleted and re installed the photo app.Nothing works .Still no enhance feature!!

Having the same issue. Mine started right after the latest update. Everything else works except enhance, which i use for my ecommerce business daily. This is very frustrating.

I too am experiencing the same problem which started sometime in the week beginning 9th September. However I have discovered that it is only happening with photos I have downloaded from my camera in the last week. If I use the enhance facility on any photos which I downloaded on to my desktop before that time it works fine. Throughout I have used the same camera and memory card so it is rather mysterious - something must have changed but what?

Cannot use the enhance function on any of my photos at all.None of the above repair suggestions work.You send feedback and all you get is a reply along the lines Thankyou for using feedbackThis will allow us to make Windows better.!!

I have memories that this also happened last year with the Enhance facility and there were many messages in the Community about it at the time. Eventually (some weeks later) Microsoft corrected the problem with a further update. We must hope that something similar happens this time if enough people send feedback to MS!

It also happened to me last year as well. After a few weeks it just started working again, hopefully it will not take as long this time.

Hi .Finally managed to get things sorted.Got in touch with @MicrosoftHelps via Twitter.They suggested downloading an add on called Photos Media engine Add-on.This seems to have solved the problem.Have tried using the enhance facility on several photos from different folders.Seems to be working exactly as it should.Good luck folks .Hope the solution works for you as well.

Thank you David for this - yes I had read about this but couldn't find it on the UK Microsoft Store - then, this morning found Microsoft has today installed it on my computer and everything works at last as it should! Problem solved!
