Windows 10 Mincraft

Hi There,

I bought Mincraft Java back in 2012 which like many gave me the option to get a free Windows 10 version of the game when it was released. I am able to log into my old Mojang account and see that the game was redeemed back in 2017 to my Microsoft account that is associated with the Mojang account. But when I go to my Microsoft account, its no where to be seen. I have tried logging in and out several times, went looking for it in my orders section like the Mojang troubleshooting says to, and even reached out to the Minecraft support team for help. They sent me a reply back with instruction on how to redeem it and then ignored my pleas for help after I replied that I had already gone through this process. I am desperately trying to find this Windows 10 edition so I don't have to buy it again, can someone help me?

Hi Greg, thanks for the quick response. I have checked My Library on the store hub and unfortunately it is not there.

I would contact Microsoft Support by one of these phone numbers:

You can also go here: https://partner.support.services.microsoft.com/... choose the link for Browser help, interact briefly about your exact problem, keep replying agent until it connects with an agent.

Tell them you are being ignored by Minecraft team and now are being helped in MS Communty forums by a senior MVP where we are waiting to hear how they can help you get what you were promised. This may help get some action on this, and will help others in this same situation who find this thread.

Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.

Well Greg I was able to reach out to someone at Microsoft, someone by the name of Marcherry, and have nothing to show for it but a headache. They informed me of what I already knew, that the code had been redeemed but it was not on my account. They said that the code had been redeemed on a different account, but ever since Mojang was bought by Microsoft I have never had any other account other than the live.com account that it says the code was redeemed to. They suggested I reach out to Mojang support, which I already have with no help what-so-ever. So it doesn't seem that Microsoft support is going to be very supportive.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Is it possible you were using a different email address then and can check in folders for the receipt or key? Some people don't realize they have another MS Account they've used only with an App like Xbox or OneDrive.

If not then I don't know what else to suggest. If Xbox is involved you could ask an Xbox Ambassador who are the MVP's of Xbox to see what they say here:

I'm sorry to say that as far as know there isn't one. I have only ever had the one email address associated with this entire process. I have looked through all of my folders for my other 2 email addresses, and found nothing. I even had several Microsoft Phones, and they all used the same email address. So there's not really to many places to look.
I appreciate the advice.
