Does it show any 'error text' along with the error codes? Please share the error text so that we can try to find what caused the error.

Hello, I’m Virginia an independent advisor with 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.
Which Windows 10 build are you running - 1903, 1909, 2004 or 20H2 (Oct 2020)?

What capacity is the USB drive? You need at least 8Gb.
Is the drive blank (contains no files)?
Is the drive formatted correctly?
At what point in the USB creation does the error occur?
Are you looking to create the media in order to update Windows or just to have installation media for future use?
Can you download Windows update OK?

Try:
Right click on start & choose powershell with admin & enter:
SFC /SCANNOW
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Hi ill answer your questions as best as i can. It is a 16gb USB, its been formatted twice once as a quick format and once as a normal set to FAT32, after the first downloading stage when it comes to verifiying, it displays at like 84% of the verification. I am looking to create it for a laptop that a family member has and wish to mail them the USB. Windows update works fine, i have updated my laptop fully before attempting to create the installation media and its a brand new laptop anyway i purchased it on the 27th of January. The build of windows i am running is 20H2 (OS Build 19042.804). Thanks.
