Windows 10 McAffe Live Safe trial version

How to uninstall McAfee Live Safe trial version that came with my new HP Notebook Windows 10 Home 64 version so I can install my Norton product.
Use the McAfee removal tool, and be aware that Windows 10's own Defender and Windows Firewall should be adequate.  McAfee and Norton products should be avoided, as they're likely to cause more problems than they solve.

I read that as long as I make sure to turn on Window Defender after I remove McAfee  and once I have Norton installed that Windows Defender will automatically turn itself off  because two virus programs won't work together.

That's true, but it says nothing about using Norton or McAfee products to begin with.  Both are bad.

I have been using Norton Security with backup for the last 8 years and have not had any  major problems using Norton on my laptop and tablets.I believe that any antivirus product can be bad when the person using it don't know how to use the virus program correctly.Anyway I already paid to renew my Norton product in September for another year so I might as well use it since I already have Norton installed on my old laptop and tablets.
