I recently upgraded my ASUS U36SD Windows 7 64 bit to Windows 10 after my laptop was declared OK to upgrade by Windows 10 app.
1. It worked fine for few days
2. Yesterday, it suddenly shuts down and power button starts malfunctioning. It would blink on power on and then won't work
3. After doing a lot of things, I pressed F4 while booting and the start button started blinking and finally started working
4. Windows 10 started working again but only as administrator, as a user it malfunctions i.e. start menu and few other things won't work and windows will run very slow
5. I restored windows to early point to undo any changes if made by me but the situation is the same
Any advice on how to fix start menu, search and speed of the windows 10?
UPDATE:
Created a new user account and everything works fine in that account but in the old user account start menu, Microsoft Edge and some other apps don't work.
UPDATE 2:
Had to delete the problematic user account after shifting its data to new user account. The deleted user account was working fine in windows 7 before the upgrade.
I have also stopped automatic driver updates for the device. Now I'll run the device for few days if it continues to work properly.
UPDATE 3:
Windows STORE app still does not work properly despite installing all updates.
