Hi Samuel,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

The Power button typically indicates that hardware awoke the computer or that the PC restarted instead of fully shutting down, with LAN often being the primary culprit.
Please open the Windows Recovery environment using either of the steps below, which works.

Open Settings App by pressing the Win+I keys.

Navigate to Update and Security > Recovery menu.

Click the Restart Now button beside Advanced Startup.

Choose UEFI Firmware Settings.

Next, look for Wake on LAN feature in the UEFI Settings and disable it. Please let me know if the PC now shuts down properly afterwards.

Good luck!
Sumit

After navigating to UEFI Firmware Settings, then going to the "Boot" menu I found these options.

Boot Mode----UEFI

Fast Boot----Enabled

USB Boot----Enabled

PXE Boot to LAN----Enabled

IPV4 PXE First----Enabled

Would you want me to disable the fourth option?

Hello, I set PXE Boot to LAN to disabled but the computer still wakes up from sleep. I ran

powercfg /systemsleepdiagnostics

I got a file path

C:\WINDOWS\system32\system-sleep-diagnostics.html.

Under Power Requests I have three things.

\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\MoUsoCoreWorker.exe

\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\igdlh64.inf_amd64_1a33d2f73651d989\igfxEM.exe

\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

Thank you for your help in this matter.

Good troubleshooting.

>\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\MoUsoCoreWorker.exe
and
>>\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

are related to Windows update and unrelated to the issue.

Re:>

\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\igdlh64.inf_amd64_1a33d2f73651d989\igfxEM.exe

This is possibly the problem i.e. the display driver. I assume that you do not have a separate monitor or TV connected to the device.

First troubleshoot using these steps.

Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
Expand Display adapters.
Right-click your display driver and select Disable device.
Click Yes to confirm.

Please let me know if in the "disabled" state, the laptop sleeps or not. Good luck!

Hello, thank you for all your help so far.

I have two display adapters

AMD Radeon(TM) RX 560

Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

I disabled both. After disabling the AMD nothing happened. After disabling the Intel, the sleep option disappears. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel driver and the computer still wakes up from sleep.

Not sure what to check from here. I am waiting for your good help.
