Windows 10 - Laptop auto disconnects from charger

My laptop is constantly disconnecting from power while the charger is still plugged in and the only way to fix this without restarting is by removing the charger and putting it back in... This only works temporarily.. I have no hardware issues and the only permanent solution I found so far is reinstalling the OS (including removal of all files) which is not an option for me

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

From your description, I suspect the problem might lies with the charger you're using or might be with the connector. Suggest you to check this by using a new charger or test the existing charger by connecting it to some other Laptop, if it fits. Also ensure that there shouldn't be any problem with the source point. If you're using any intermediate connector, then try to connect the charger directly to the source end and see if the problem still appears.

Keep us posted if you require further assistance.
