Windows 10: Install 32 bit OS on 64 bit Machine.

I understand that you are not able to install Window 10 32bit OS on your 64bit OS computer.

Are you trying to do a clean install or custom on the computer?

Windows 10 32 bit cannot override the installation on the Operating System of 64 bit. It can only be install by wiping out the Operating system from the computer.

We cannot change the architecture of Windows from the Operating system. We need to change the architecture from outside of the Operating System like performing clean install or Custom install.

If you are trying to install Windows 10 32 bit OS by performing clean install or custom install and then you are receiving the error which mentioned on your thread. The possible reason would be that either the Window Operating system which you have downloaded is either corrupted or System files responsible for boot are missing.

I would recommend you to download the Operating System of Windows 10 and create a bootable USB drive or DVD.

If the issue persist, then I would recommend you to contact your Computer Manufacturer to diagnose your hardware compatibility with architecture of 32 bit.

• Are you doing a clean install of the 32 bit?
• Was the 64 bit initially installed and was not successful that’s why you want to use the 32 bit?
• Where did you purchased your Windows software? Have you tried to contact them for possible replacement?
