Windows 10 Freezing randomly [SOLVED]

My PC keeps freezing randomly.Even Task manager couldnt help it.It including window explorer and all programs/apps.Windows store and Mail apps cant open.

Maybe because of the newly update or nvidia latest update.I cant find the main reason, ive tried every method that could  help, but still same.

My Specs :

Intel i7 3770

Msi B75IA-E33

GTX 970

8Gb RAM

Intel SSD 12OGb

May I know:

Q) When you power on your PC, does it takes more time than expected?

Q) Where does your PC freezes: After power on OR After the booting screen OR After Logon Screen?

No, startup just normal.On boot and logon screen all normal.

Just when im using programs like Origin, it will freeze and not responding even with task manager.Then all windows not responding and freeze.Had to force restart everytime it happen.

Windows store and mail also cannot be open

Hi Sir SmokeA-lot,

PRE-REQUEST

Step 1: Windows Version & Latest OS Build

  1. To check your latest build:
    1. Windows Key + R
    2. Run window will open
    3. Type:
    4. winver
    5. And press enter to open About Windows
    6. Cross check whether you have latest Version & OS Build
    7. Till Today: Windows 10 Version 1607 & OS Build 14393.351
  2. You may achieve latest version through steps 2.
  3. If you have a latest version, go to step 3.

Step 2: Windows 10 Anniversary Update(Version 1607):

  1. To download & install Windows 10 Anniversary Update
  2. Microsoft - "Download tool now"

Though you have upgraded to latest version of Windows, please proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Windows Update(OS Build 14393.351)

  1. Once again update through Windows Update
  2. Follow this steps:
    1. Click on Windows Key
    2. Click on Settings
    3. Click on Update & Security
    4. On left panel click on Windows Update
    5. On right panel under Windows Update click on Check for Updates

If still getting an error proceed to step 4

Step 4: Check & Restore windows integrity


  1. Click on Windows Key
  2. Type Command Prompt
  3. Right click on Command Prompt and run as Administrator
  4. Command Prompt window will open and type the following command and press enter
  5. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth && DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  6. Please refer a screenshot
  7.  Do you get any error or message??

Step 5: Scan your system

  1. Scan your system by Windows Defender(Recommended) or antivirus program

If still getting an error proceed to step 6

SOLUTION TO FREEZING

Step 6: Try

  1. For solution to Origin, Please visit: Close background programs or applications before launching Origin (help.ea.com)
  2. For solution to Windows Store:
    1. Reset Windows Store
      1. Windows Key + R
      2. Run window will open
      3. type:
      4. WSReset.exe
      5. Press enter
      6. Restart your system
      7. Check if the issue still persist or not
    2. Windows Apps Troubleshooting
      1. Microsoft Support - "Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps"

Step for origin still the same, not responding anddd windows keep freezing.Is there any solution for the error?Or i just go windows reset?

- You can reset or re-install Windows 10 completely. Please backup your data, Personal Files, etc.

Hi Rohan, the real problem here is my SATA cable.I bought a new SSD to replace the HDD.When i try to initialize the SSD, it also crash and freeze then i change with new SATA cable and it work like normal.I've just spend about $35 for that new SSD, only if i know the real problem is SATA cable.lol

The strange part is out now, sorry that cost you. Normally the chances of Hardware failure is quite less than software failure. That's why we don't think of it at first. We try experimenting many thinks on system to work well.

ITS A HARDWARE PROBLEM. WILL MAKE THE SAME ERROR IN LINUX, WINDOWS, ANDROID , MAC, MSDOS. IS NOT THE WINDOWS O.S. IS THE HARDWARE
