Windows 10 error code 0xc000014c

I had a blue screen error code with the message : DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

Stop code: amdkmpfd.sys

I looked up possible solutions to the problem on YouTube and I finally uninstalled my AMD Radeon driver and Software since it was one of the solutions proffered on YouTube.

But today on starting up my Laptop, I am shown a blue screen with this message :

Recovery

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

The boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains some errors

File:\Boot\BCD

Error code: 0xc000014c

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media(like a disc or USB Device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.

Note: I do not have a disc or USB. But is there any way I can fix this problem?

You should exercise caution when using third party sites for help/guidance

For a laptop and branded PC you update drivers only from that laptop/device maker and no where else including win update.

Hi Edheba,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

1
Try booting into the Recovery environment to access Command Prompt:

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Command Prompt

Run these commands one at a time and press Enter after each one.

bootrec /FixMbr
bootrec /FixBoot
bootrec /ScanOs
bootrec /RebuildBcd

Then reboot your system to see if Windows will boot.

2
If you cannot access the recovery environment or those commands did not solve the problem you will need to get a USB flash drive, on another working PC create a bootable Windows 10 USB, boot your PC from that and rather than installing Windows 10, select 'Repair this Computer' to access the recovery Environment.

to download the Media Creation Tool (Click on Download Tool Now), with that you can download the latest Windows 10 ISO (Select Create Installation Media for Another PC), you can create a bootable USB flash drive (min 8GB) using that tool

Then, Boot your PC from the Installation Media you just created (change Boot Order in your BIOS)
