Windows 10 Date/Time not updating

Date/Time is not updating automatically. Every tome I restart, I have to re-synchronize date/Time

Is it a Desktop or a Laptop? For the time, a CMOS battery is used in a Motherboard which is responsible for running time even when the computer is off. When that wears out, the time starts to misbehave.
You might also get a warning that CMOS checksum bad or something similar when you turn on the computer.

I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Right click the clock in System Tray at right end of task bar, choose Adjust Date & Time, then Additional Date & Time Settings, choose Set the Date and Time, then in popup choose Internet Time tab, choose Change Settings, from drop down menu another Sync server from drop down menu, choose Update Now and then OK.

If that doesn't help then go into BIOS to check BIOS clock for accuracy. If not then replace the CMOS battery which holds the time current in BIOS and Windows when it's not running.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

This sounds like your CMOS CR-2032 chip is no longer working and needs to be replaced. Its a small chip that stores basic information about your computer and keeps the time when its off. Its a small silver coin on the motherboard. You can get replacements where ever computers products and electronics are sold.

You might need someone to help you get it installed.

Andre

From Windows side, you can try following

Option 1. Set Synchronize with an Internet Time Server
Right click on the date / time in notification bar
Adjust date & time > Make sure Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are set to ON

Click Region and Language on left side
Scroll down > Click Additional date, time & regional settings
Click set the time and date
Under Internet Time tab > Click Change Settings
Check Synchronize with an Internet Time Server
(You can also try to change to pool.ntp.org and click Update)
If it is already checked, uncheck it and OK
Now go back to this and check it again

Option 2. Fix Windows Time in Services
Type services in Windows Start Search box
Click Services
Scroll down to reach to Windows Time
Double Click to open
Set Startup type to Automatic
Reboot your computer
