Windows 10 D Drive Huge System and Reserved Space

Hello!

System and reserved take so much space on d drive that I don't know what else I can do! I need it now! how do I fix it?

Hi ThundY

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Click the link below to download a small free utility named Treesize from the Microsoft Store

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/treesiz...

Very Important - to run TreeSize, you must right click its icon and choose Run as Administrator.

Please provide a screenshot of your D drive in that TreeSize utility, so I can see your hard drive and work out where that space is being used and if there is an underlying problem.

Hi ThundY

Sorry, I was offline, hank you for the screenshot,

1
On your D drive is a huge (66GB) Windows folder, do you have Windows installed on the D drive?

Please open that folder in TreeSze and provide a screenshot of the contents of that folder.

2
There is a 40GB folder named $av_asw that is a folder created by Avast Security, it it the Avast Quarantine folder, you can safely delete the contents of that folder.
