To understand the issue better, I would like to know what is the make and model of the computer?
The issue you are facing could be due to the display adapter driver is outdated. Let’s try simple troubleshooting methods and check if this helps in resolving the issue.
Method 1.
I recommend you to uninstall/re-install the display driver and check if this helps.

Press Windows key + X and select Device manager.

Click and expand Display Adaptor, right click on device select “uninstall”.

Restart the computer once it is uninstalled. It will automatically install the generic display driver.
Note: Make sure you download the updated display driver.

Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

Select Compatibility tab.

Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
If the issue still persist, I suggest you to update the display driver by following the above steps. Skip step3 and right click on the device and click on
update software.
If the issue still persist, try the below method.
Method 2.
I recommend you to go the computer manufacturer website and download the lasted updated display driver and install the same. If the available driver is not for Windows 10 try installing the driver
in compatibility mode and check.

Download the latest display driver from the manufacturer’s website.

Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

Select Compatibility tab.

Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
