Installed Win 10 yesterday and everything seems fine so far . . . except the display needs moved to the right a little. Nothing happens when I try to open the Nvidia control panel to center the picture.

Hello Lige,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Are you referring to the desktop screen being off center – a little to the left? If yes, check if you have changed the screen-resolution and if it works.
If the above step does not work then check the monitor screen adjustment on the monitor itself.
You may find a button to move the monitor screen up-down, or left-right. Check if you are able to resolve the issue by moving the monitor screen.
Let us know if the above helps.
Thank you.

I can't change the resolution from 1280 x 1024. It won't accept any other resolution. My actual res is 1920 x 1080 I can't find an alignment grid in Win 10. I know how to do it in Vista and 7 but not 10. How do I access the alignment grid?Hello Lige,

Nobody knows how to find an alignment grid in Win10 . . .really?
Does this silence mean there is no alignment grid?

My issue is somewhat similar, the display is a little too big so I only see the tops of the taskbar icons and the corners of the display are not visible. I contacted Samsung and they said it is a graphics driver update that I have to get from Microsoft. I am not sure if this is true.

Yeah, I can't get a definite answer for my question either. But that's the norm around here.
Hello Microsoft! Is anybody home?
What happened to the alignment grid that was in win/vista and win7? It is gone and I need to move the picture to the right a little. I am using the suggested/default resolution settings.
Don't send me to the monitor mfg, they sent me back to you because I use this monitor as a TV and the picture is just peachy-keen when viewing cable TV. It needs moved to the right only when I am using win7. (which, in my opinion, would make it a Microsoft/nvidia problem.)
thanks in advance,
lige

Best would be download the latest video drivers for the device. If not the latest ones, install in compatibility mode shared here:
To work with additional display settings-
