Will my 7 years old laptop run windows 11?

I am running windows 10 22h2 and its working fine with my pretty much 7 years old laptop.

Will windows 11 run after bypassing minimum system requirements?

My specs:

AMD A8 dual core processor 2.4 ghz clock speed (Overclock 5ghz)

4gb ram

500gb hdd MBR

AMD Radeon graphics

No tpm and secure boot

Kindly help me if my laptop can run win11 23h2.

I have a good 200gb internet connectivity.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I'm here to help with your questions or issues. Just note – this is a place where passionate Microsoft users help each other, we don't work directly for Microsoft.

To answer your specific question, yes, technically, you can install and run Windows 11 on your laptop even if it doesn't meet the minimum system requirements.

But then again, even if you manage to bypass these requirements, your laptop is unlikely to run Windows 11 smoothly for a few reasons:

Your AMD A8 processor, although overclocked, is a dual-core model from seven years ago. Windows 11 generally needs at least a recent-generation quad-core processor.

4GB of RAM is the absolute minimum for Windows 11, and performance is likely to be sluggish. For a better experience, 8GB or more is recommended.

Additionally, TPM and secure boot are essential hardware-level security features that Windows 11 requires. Skipping these can affect your system's security and stability.

So, while you can, doesn't mean you should. But of course, it's possible. Bypassing the TPM and Secure Boot requirements to install Windows 11 goes against the spirit of Microsoft's terms of service. While it's not explicitly stated that doing so is a breach of contract, the system requirements are there for a reason and Microsoft reserves the right to withhold updates, including critical security updates, from systems that don't meet the minimum requirements. This leaves you exposed to potential vulnerabilities.

While Microsoft might not take any direct action against you for bypassing the requirements, you're essentially running Windows 11 at your own risk. You won't be eligible for official support, and any problems you encounter will be your responsibility to solve.

Sorry for the lengthy response—I just wanted to be thorough since this is a common question and I thought it would be best to provide detailed information in reply to your original post.
