I am considering buyong a new pc with windows 11. I need Lotus 123 millenium edition version 9 for windows 32 bit to be avke to work on this as I still get files from clients using this software. Would I be avtle to install Lotus 123 on my windows11 pc? Wouldbit work?

lotus 123 from smartsuite 9 cd works just fine on windows 10 64bit. i just installed it myself. it seems its abandonware

Lotus 123 works in windows 11 no problem.

I run the Millenium edition of Lotus Smartsuite on 64 bit operating systems. I am currently running it all on Windows 10 & 11. The only problem is with Approach as it was designed for 80 column systems. Its an easy fix.

I find that Lotus 1-2-3, Wordpro and Approach are way better than anything else although I have to use Word and Excel for work. I work in IT so I use them all the time and Excel just drives me nuts, two examples which Micrsoft could cure but never will: Cut and Paste - Copy a column of calculations and paste a few columns, then go and do something else, your copy is now lost from the clipboard. Enter a number such as 14*52 it will nter it as text unless you use a + before it. 1-2-3 does all these plus there are so many other things, dont even get me started on Word, I hate it.

Lotus knew how to make software easy to use and reliable, I suspect Ill be using it on Windows23 - without a virtual machine too.

I am in a very similar situation to you. I use both Excel and have a lot of work on lotus 23 which is a mine of information accumulated over long years.

Sometimes I wonder if I will come to a dead end, but seems I will have the chance to keep using this for some years.

Indeed Lotus is much practical and simple to use....maybe not so sophisticated as Excel, but it serves its purpose very well.
