If it changes again after resetting it then you most likely need to replace the cmos battery.

Hi,

This could be something to do with daylight saving...

Right click your clock on the taksbar
Click Adjust Date/Time
Click the Time Zone tab

Is "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" ticked or unticked? Does your country of residence/time zone have daylight saving? For example, this happened 2 days ago in the UK.

Do you have a dual/multi boot system? This can result in your computer's clock getting updated by an hour for each OS that you boot after daylight saving becomes effective.

pc clock behind 2 hrs

Thank you for the advice. It worked like a charm by going into Settings. Find Clock date and time. Click and change the necessary item. Click OK and when you close that window it is done.
