Hi,

1.2 is fine.

Answers as requested:

Do you mean, Clean Installation?

1. Clean install: Yes. By manual install, I mean downloading an ISO file and running the setup to upgrade, and keeping everything. What I mean is, you won't get Windows 11 updates through Windows update.

Download the whole Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft?

Can you help me with the official Windows 11 ISO link?

2. Official ISO file would be available after October 5, 2021. There is a preview ISO available here:

How about my Windows 10 digital license who is linked to my Microsoft account?

Can I still use it for Windows 11? or

Do I still need to buy the retail product key for Windows 11 later?

3. Yes, you can use the Digital license of 10 to activate 11. The upgrade is free of cost.

most importantly after this clean installation Did I still later can get an update/ security update from Microsoft?

I hear/read from theverge say: Microsoft threatens to kick unsupported PCs out aka it won't get an update for who won't meet Windows 11 system requirements.

4. There isn't clarity on this yet - Microsoft hasn't disclosed what the trade-offs would be if you install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor. I do not see a reason why you would not get updates - maybe the device would only get security updates, not the future feature updates available/year. More to follow on that.

"After carefully analyzing the first generation of AMD Zen processors in partnership with AMD, together we concluded that there are no additions to the supported CPU list."

You have merely restated the obvious. You did not answer the question. WHY is the AMD Threadripper 1950X not supported? The 1950X is a modern and very capable CPU. I would like better reason to toss it out and drop another $1000 on a 2950X. "Because Microsoft said so" in not acceptable.
