Just to check if I got your concern correctly, you want to import your Word file to your Canva App, is that correct?
If yes, please check your File explorer and see where is the exact location of the file. And follow the steps from the link below:

Note: Once you have clicked the Import option, please make sure that you are on the correct file location.
If the issue persists, please try to save the Word file on other location.
