Where is my background picture?

I have a photo that I have used as my background picture for many years. I have lost the original image - I now need that image again. Where does Windows store this file - it is not in Windows/Web/Backgroundpictures. I have performed searches using the original file name - without result. Windows obviously holds the image somewhere as it uses it for start up screen & background but original image (from camera is missing) Any ideas???

Try looking here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<YourName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Wallpaper1.bmp
C:\Documents and Settings\<YourName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Wallpaper1.jpg
