When Installing W10 Error 0xC1900101 - 0x20004

Hey,

I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-A (x64) and I am running on Windows 8.1.  My 2 other computers, one being windows 7 and the other windows 8.1, both successfully updated to windows 10.  The one running windows 8.1 was updated using the media creation tool (Selecting "Upgrade This PC").  The other updated through the regular "Get Windows 10" icon.

Now the problem, on this computer, the Toshiba Satellite, because the "Get Windows 10" icon is telling me to wait for it to be released to this kind of computer I don't want to wait.  I used the media creation tool to attempt to upgrade to windows 10 and it gets stuck with 32% (total) and 6% (on the driver installing one.) then I waited HOURS for it to move.  Of course, it didn't and not only once, but 4 times, have i gotten the error code 0xC1900101 - 0x20004.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

And no, Microsoft, waiting an incredible amount of time doesn't fix it.

Windows 10: Upgrade error 0xC1900101 – 0x20004

I am getting same error. I reinstalled my windows 7 with SR.1 but the result is same. Please let me know how to update?

I tried to install windows 10 by removing extra CD drive, Extra RAM but it could not help me.

can anyone help me to diagnose this error...i tried to download windows 10 many times but everytime it fails and when i open the logs, i get this error

I have updated my system to windows 10 after nos of unsuccessful trials and error. 

What I did, I copied my all date to spare hard disk. Format the hard disk completely and removing all the partitions. Installed Windows 7 without any updates of SR1, drivers and other software directly upgrade it to windows 10 using windows 10 ISO downloaded from microsoft official site. I got success in the same. 

so for windows 10 upgrade no need to remove extra peripherals, or update windows 7 with SR1 and all Microsoft updates till you get windows 10 update notifications. 

In short If you are unable to update to windows 10 though you are getting notification, format the system completely say clean installation. Upgrade it to windows 10 without any problems or error.
