What the hell is with the settings?

The settings is literally horrible now. First off, I change my monitor's HZ a LOT. So the fact it takes 2 MORE CLICKS FOR NO APPARENT REASON really gets on my nerves.

Windows 7: Right click deslktop, screen resolution, advanced settings, monitor (Now we are there, 4 clicks total)

Windows 10: Right click desktop, Display settings, advanced display settings, (Scroll down aka click), Display adapter properties, monitor (6 clicks total).

Look at this eyesore:

Clicking one will have a short but noticeable and completely unnecessary delay. Luckily the control panel is still available but it's hidden by default.

It gets even more complicated as you now have to check Settings and the Control Panel each as both do not always overlap each other. As for the Control Panel applet, it's not really hidden, it's more like it's buried deeply in the Start Menu way down under Windows System. By right clicking on the Start Button, it will give you more direct access to it.

I mean, I installed StartIsBack so that's mot a problem for me personally but I'm baffled it's not easily accessible for new users.

Here's your problem: An LCD monitor is designed to work at the factory refresh rate. You're not supposed to change the refresh rate. If you think that's a good idea anyway, go ahead. But don't expect Windows to work the way you think it should work.

Wrong. I bought a gaming monitor that is capable of 144 HZ but is only 60 HZ until you manually increase it.
