I didn't sign in to my spaces for a long period of time and when I was trying to open it just now the link doesn't work and it doesn't exist anymore. I was told that Windows Live has migrated it to wordpress after March, 2011 (and I wasn't aware of it till now!)
What has happened to my windows live spaces if I didn't migrate it nor download it after that? It represents a huge part of my earlier life and it's full of memories. Is it possible that I could download a copy of it now? Just any part of it please??? Please help!!! Thanks!!!

Windows Live Spaces has been discontinued and I’m sorry to inform you that there is no option to recover your files or blogs.

Can you please confirm, that the data that was stored in Windows Live Spaces has been removed from the Microsoft servers and is not in the possession of Microsoft?

great I didn't trust microsoft with putting up everything at live space, but I'm still upset that all my photos I uploaded were deleted without notice

Windows LIVE SPACES; no notice? There was a lot of notice… like six months.
There was a lot of coverage about it. Windows LIVE SPACES pushed everyone to a competitor, WordPress; yeah, it was covered.

It's a free service that's gone; you really have no room to complain. If it was that important, you should have had a backup.

Sorry you lost some pictures, but what's more valuable is learning the lesson of 'cloud' storage.

Have you taken a look into Microsoft Sky Drive?

I bought a new computer and signed into SkyDrive with my old email connected to my Live Spaces account and all my photos were in the SkyDrive already. It had been so long that I even forgot where these photos came from. They were uploaded in 2006, so maybe there's hope!
