Weird popup appearing frequently

Does anyone know why does this "du.centennial" show up quite frequently on my desktop or have similar experience? I haven't been able to locate any processes running with any of those names. Could it be an add service running from within Windows? I would like to know if it is something I should worry about, so any help is appreciated.

Hi Stefjord, this is definitely caused by something on your Windows Startup processes

Task Manager and indeed Msconfig offer only limited control over Startup items . . .

Click the link below to download a small free utility that does not require installation

When the file downloads, unzip it.

Depending on your system, run Autoruns or Autoruns64 as Administrator

With that utility, you can right click and delete any startup item in Windows

Just be careful not to delete any required process . . .

This is due to the Dell Updater (I'm guessing you're on a Dell machine). Consider going to Apps and Features and uninstalling the Dell Update apps and the Dell SupportAssist apps.

I think you are right, I just tried to turn all that off on my Dell.  Thanks!  I am going to try what you suggested.
