WatchDog Violation Won't Go Away

I will begin with warning that I am not a very tech savvy person with these types of issues. But earlier this week out of nowhere I got a blue screen I had never seen before with the watchdog violation message. I of course freaked out because I had never seen anything like this happen. So my laptop restarted and within minutes of being on Chrome it did it again. I did a little research and decided to check for driver updates via Driver Easy. The watchdog driver was listed so I updated and installed and after that didn't seem to have any issue. Then the very next day I got a message I had a Windows update and my computer needed to be restarted. Well apparently this was the October update and it took hours upon hours to finish. I honestly thought my computer was dunzo. But then after the update finally finished everything seemed fine again. Now today out of nowhere yet again I got the dreaded Watchdog screen. The driver is up to date and I assume so is Windows so I can't figure out why this is happening. All of the troubleshooting I have seen feel a bit above my head so I htought I would reach out to see if anyone might know what's going on.

Please uninstall it and use Defender in its place. Let us know if it BSODs again.

I'd prefer to steer clear of uninstalling Norton if at all possible. I have had it on the laptop for 5+ years with no issues, other than one time it was suggested I use Defender which only caused me more problems. I just spent $89 bucks to renew it 2 weeks ago. I had to have a Norton specialist join my computer to fix a glitch, perhaps something happened then? It just seems fishy in all the years I have had this laptop I had never even once gotten any kind of blue screen until those update messages started popping up.

I have had so many different responses to this (which I appreciate) I am trying to keep up with all the suggestions. What about the driver updates and fast start-up that were mentioned earlier?

Fast startup in your case is irrelevant.

I see an issue with a network driver which can be caused either by your AV trying to intercept a suspicious packet and as a result throwing BSOD or your Network driver is actually faulty.

If in case you do not want to uninstall, I would suggest you to at least, reinstall it.

Secondly, let us try reinstalling the Network driver. Please reinstall the package from here.

Okay to clarify the network driver is the same as the  Intel Wireless LAN Driver?

Okay, just wanted to make sure. Doing that now, and I had a Norton specialist reinstall that yesterday. It took some time as it looked like they had some issues. But, in the end everything installed properly.  I guess with this Watchdog thing you don't really know if it;s resolved unless it decides to pop up again?
