[W11-Pro] Crash report event & freeze

Hi,

I use Windows 11 Pro x64 with stable current version. MB is Asrock B600M Pro Rs with version 9.03

I have to share with you some windows crash report events which couldn't be sent by default. I need to understand why I got that crash, freeze and shutdown. I have some texts like: Ready for upload and Not reported. How I can mange them to report or upload?

With almost 1 week ago my mouse started to freeze for ~1msec. , with 2 days ago my computer started to freeze for ~1sec. , yesterday I got a complete PC freeze. I didn't changed settings in BIOS or Windows. I just installed some games, 2 of them installed nVidia PhysX(but I have RX 6600 as GPU, I don't think this could be the problem).

Recently mb developers released drivers update for INF driver ver:10.1.19468.8385 and Intel Management Engine driver ver:2307.4.12.0_CONS (only those drivers I have installed from begging) and I installed them. Could this be the problem? Should I roll back those drivers? Or to disable Windows fast startup?

I don't think this could be the problem because I have it from begging too, but I enabled XMP Profile 2.0 and I have my ram speed at 3600 MHz. But if I remember well, the freeze problem started after I updated that 2 drivers.

I changed my mouse by the way, so the problem with mouse wasn't from cable/usb.

In Event Viewer is no problem. Jus from Kernel because I rebooted manually computer.

Hi Levin S.,

Welcome to the Microsoft community and thank you for asking your question in the community!

Thank you for the detailed crash information! I understand from your description that you are experiencing a problem with Windows Freeze not working with your system. I noticed that you have enabled the XMP Profile 2.0 option, which is a memory overclocking option.

I suggest you try turning off this XMP Profile 2.0 option and you can also turn off the CPU and your GPU overclocking options. After completing the above actions see if you still experience the Windows freezing issue.

If turning off the overclocking option doesn't work, please check your graphics card's connection to your motherboard, as you can see from the "Bug Check 0x141" in your error code, the problem may be related to your motherboard.

Please let me know if I have misunderstood. Tell us the results and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Zhang Yang - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

Hi,

I overclocked only ram, but they was overclocked from the first time of PC usage(so with a long time ago) and freeze problems started with ~1 week ago. Since then I didn't edited BIOS anymore. Settings which I edited was enabling XMP Profile 2.0 and disabling wake up on usb(or something like that, function which is shutdown usb when I shutdown PC)

Not sure about meaning of Bug Check 0x141. What kind of problem can be with my motherboard?

Thanks.

Oh, I'm sorry, I seem to have misinterpreted what I said. bug code 141 means that there may be a problem with your video display hardware, so you can check the drivers for your video card, and then check the connection between the video card and your motherboard (you can try to unplug it again). If you want to know more about the bug code 141 issue, you can also refer to the following link:

Bug Check 0x141 VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED - Windows drivers | Microsoft Learn

Thank you again for your understanding and support!

Best regards,
