Using 'Miracast' from Windows 10 to a smart (panasonic ) TV

Hi,

Setting up the above connection I get great video but no sound:  

However if I connect to the PC from the TV (the other way around) ,  I can play PC  videos with sound on the TV. 

The connection  shows the TV id  in  'Wireless  Display & docks'  AND  'Audio' when connected via Settings/Bluetooth & other devices/    but no sound ....what am I doing wrong ... help!

Hi Vinu,

Thanks for your help and I thought I was getting somewhere as going through the 'action center' was slightly different than 'Settings'.

It seemed to update some Miracast software but to no avail..... still the same problem,  but thank you anyway.

So check your TV settings to make sure the speaker/sound settings is set to the built-in speakers which came installed in the TV or if the setting is set to Audio-Out.  I have made that mistake several times.  It might be that the audio is going somewhere else.  If that doesn't work, try reinstalling your HD Audio Drivers and HD Audio Driver packages.  (i.e. RealTek Audio HD Manager)
