usb2.0-ser!

I have recently purchased a USB to Serial adapter to use some of my old equipment. When I try to use the search for driver feature it says I need usb2.0-ser! but I cannot find it anywhere, any help?

Any drivers required would be supplied by the maker of the adapter.

It could be that the adapter is only usb 2 compatible and your PC only has usb1. USB drivers are installed by default in win, there are no extra drivers

Hi Gen Shingar,

1.    Are you able to access all other USB devices on the computer?

Many USB devices, such as external hard drives and media players, require a high speed USB 2.0 connection to function properly.

Refer the below link and run the fixit tool available only if none of the USB devices work on the computer.

If only the adapter is not working then check if it works on a different computer.

You will need to contact the adapter manufacturer if the adapter does not work even on a different computer.

Hope this helps!
