*URGENT* Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming- No bootable devices found

I will give you steps to access the Repair Mode to try all repairs to get Windows started, and if not to do the automated Reset or the superior Clean Install after rescuing your files. These steps don't cover possible hardware failure which might become apparent while performing the steps, so please report back as you go:

1) Use whichever method works in this link to access Advanced Startup Options: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanc.... Easiest may be to restart PC three times to trigger the Startup Options.

2) If none of the other methods work it may be necessary to Create Windows 10 Installation Media on another PC: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m...

Insert media, boot it by powering up PC while pressing the BIOS Boot Menu Key: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutor...

Choose the boot device as a UEFI device if offered, then on second screen choose Repair Your Computer. If the media won't boot you may need to enter BIOS/UEFI Setup (pressing key given in chart in link above) to turn off Fast Boot or Fast Startup first.

3) In the Advanced Troubleshooting options try to System Restore to a point before the problems began, Startup Repair, then if necessary from Startup Settings try to get into Safe Mode with Networking, or lastly Safe Mode.

If Startup Settings aren't available you can force Safe Mode from Command Prompt using the command to unhide F8 Advanced Startup Options here: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-saf.... Try Last Known Good Configuration and then Safe Mode with Networking.

4) From Safe Mode w/Networking work through the Windows 10 Install Integrity Checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get donehttp://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows_10-performance/windows-10-performance-and-install-integrity/75529fd4-fac7-4653-893a-dd8cd4b4db00: If it doesn’t fix Windows enough to start it normally, then try a Windows 10 Refresh: https://www.howtogeek.com/265054/how-to-easily-...

Update your drivers from the PC's Support Downloads web page. Compare the latest drivers with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Make sure you have the latest BIOS, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.

5) If Safe Mode doesn’t work or help stabilize things then return to Advanced Troubleshoot options. Next try Command Prompt to run through Windows 10 Install Integrity Checklist (above link) repair commands including sfc /scannow, DISM, a full Disk Check, or return to Troubleshoot options to Reset Your Windows 10 PC.

6) Better yet do the vastly superior Clean Install Windows 10 following the steps in this link to delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space to get it cleanest: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Well thanks for the quick response but the thing is I ran epsa tests and everything but they seems to be no hardware issues. But my m.2 sata ssd shows none. Again whwn i try to plug in my bootable usb for windows 10 they show no partitions available for installing windows 10 or formatting it. Pls hel...Im tired of this ;( 

Josh, are you following the steps I wrote out for you above which say exactly how to boot the media to do repairs or reinstall? You have to boot the media and not just plug it in.

If you now want to reinstall then follow these steps for troubleshooting installation problems:

Follow the illustrated Clean Install steps in this tutorial which compiles the best possible install that will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Make sure all other drives and peripherals are unplugged. Update the BIOS or UEFI firmware to latest, or reset to Defaults, making sure SATA controller is set to AHCI.

To create Windows 10 Installation Media install Media Creation Tool and follow the directions here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m.... If you're using another PC to do this then uncheck the box for Recommended Settings to choose the exact version and bit rate for the target PC only.

If the media won't boot you may need to enter BIOS/UEFI Setup (pressing key given in chart in link above) to turn off Fast Boot or Fast Startup first.

Choose the boot device as a UEFI device if offered, on first screen press Shift + F10 to open a Command Prompt, type the following commands followed by Enter key:
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SEL DIS # (replace # with the disk # of the Windows disk from list in previous command)
CLEAN
EXIT

Close Command Box, on second screen choose Install Now, then Custom Install, then at the drive selection screen choose Unallocated Space, click Next to let it create needed partitions and start install - this makes it foolproof.

You will get and keep the best possible install to the exact extent you stick with the steps, tools and methods in the linked tutorial. It's a better install than any amount of money could buy and a great learning experience that will make you the master of your PC.

I really appreciate your help honestly cant thank you enough specially cuz Dell dosent even bother to resoond to mine on their forums. 

Anyways yes i did follow your steps the thing is when it ry to boot up using The media creation tool it keeps shwoing the loading screen of windows and then suddenly it just restarts my laptop again and starts the whole process again by asking me whether i want to install a 32 bit or a 64 bit version. Finally when it showed me this again i went for additional options and booted it up in safe mode. At this time it worled (took too much time considering my laptop specs shouldve been quick took around 20 mins) but then i clicked on install at the point where they show the unallocated space and all usually; that part is blank for me,it instead shows no disk found. I'll try uploading pictures of it soon i couldnt do ot before because im on my phone and its the only device i have now. Sorry for the typos too hope you understand.

Josh, you would not boot up using the Media Creation Tool which is only run from within Windows to Upgrade, Repair Install, or create the bootable media.

In your case you want to create the media and then correctly boot the Media, not the Media Creation Tool which is only used to create the media.


To create Windows 10 Installation Media on another PC install Media Creation Tool and follow the directions here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m.... Uncheck the box for Recommended Settings to choose the exact version and bit rate for the target PC only.

Please post pictures of what you' are seeing or else type out exactly what happens. You said you actually got a screen asking to chooe bit rate version 32 or 64, correct? Was this from the booted media or when you were creating that media? If it was from the booted media, what happens when you choose 64 bit? Was the media booted correctly just as I said in the steps above?

P.S: I tried the usb on my brother's laptop running Windows 8 and it worked like a charm booted up in like 10 secs.

Josh, is the screen you posted from your BIOS? We'd need to see the other tabs where actual settings for UEFI, CSM, Legacy BIOS, Secure Boot, Fast Boot, SATA controller (should be AHCI) and Boot Priority order to check the relevant settings.

So are you saying you created bootable media that is correctly booting on another PC as a UEFI device, you can browse to Install Now, Custom Install and see the partitions on the hard drive?

Yes the bootable media worked properly on another device but dosent work on mine for some reason idk and it did list the partitions to on my brothers laptop. Yes, that was the screenshot of my bios (i Honestly hate the layout of my bios so weird).  Sure, I'll put up the screenshots in a minute
