Upgrading Windows 10 to Different Version

Currently, I have Windows 10 Home edition but I want to upgrade my version from Home to Pro edition. So I just want to make sure if I do that I won't lose information on my computer when changing editions.

Upgrading from Windows 10 Home to Pro preserves your files, apps, and settings. You will not lose any data. How do you plan to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro ?
Whether you use the Microsoft Store or a product key, all it takes is a reboot to switch to Windows 10 Pro.

The upgrade in edition from Home to Pro should be seamless, however a backup of important files is always recommended. (this is everything in the default folders, Documents, Pictures etc.)
