Unable to use mobile hotspot in windows 10

Hi,

I'm using Windows 10 Version 1909 on Dell Vostro 3350.

I want to use MOBILE HOTSPOT function but i can't and i see this error:

"We can't setup mobile hotspot"

I am able to share my internet through NETSH command.

 How should I fix this?

Can you get WiFi on the computer?

Hello APDev, I'm Didi, an independent advisor.

To fix the error "We can't setup mobile hotspot" first restart your computer to see if it helps in any way.

If restarting doesn't help try the following methods :

Method 1 :

Click on the Start button, type "control" and click on Control Panel.

On the top right corner set "View by:" on Small icons. In the list click on Network and Sharing Centre. On the left click Change adapter settings. Right-click on your WiFi network then click Disable then re-enable it

Hi APDev,
try if you solve by following these steps:
Enable / disable ICS. Try the following: Go to network connections, access the properties of the network adapter connected to the internet> Sharing tab, enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) by selecting the checkbox: Allow other users in network ... and confirm by pressing OK.
(Skip this step if ICS is already enabled.) Return to the Sharing tab, disable ICS and confirm by pressing OK.
Then go to Settings> Network and Internet and enable the mobile hotspot.
Note: When using the Windows Integrated Hotspot Mobile feature, the check boxes on the Sharing tab must remain unchecked, otherwise the Mobile Hotspot will not work. If it does not solve, try to restore the network: Settings> Network and internet> Status.Click on Network recovery on the side and follow the instructions.Otherwise, try to temporarily uninstall any third-party firewall / antivirus software or VPN and try again.
