Unable to see other computers on my network from Windows 11 laptop

I see others have similar issues and all the suggested settings have been checked at least 3 times.

On my Win10 computer I can see the other 2 computers on my home network, including the Win11 laptop. On my Win11 laptop I can only see that device on the network, although it comes and goes too. I have no visibility to the other machines.

I am trying to set up file sharing where the Win10 will be the target. It worked once for a very short period of time.

Again I have checked all the sharing settings, SMB, private network, etc.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I am thinking it's the version of windows 11 that's causing my issues. My new laptop came with Home. My old desktop that i can see entire network is Win 10 Pro. Looking at upgrading laptop to Pro.

I bookmarked your site as well. Looks like you have oodles of information.

Since posting my question and receiving your reply I found this youtube video that uses a shortcut to the target computer when you can;t see it in the network list. This works beautifully and seems to have solved my problem.

Sharing in hopes it helps others.
