Unable to login to Xbox accessories - Error code 0x800701F4

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the Xbox accessories (version 2402.2401.17002.0) on Windows 11 Pro 23H2 - Build 22631.3085 .

When I run it with my XBox Series controller connected, no error at all.


But if I click on the test mode, or if I plug my USB-C Cable from my PC to the Xbox Series controller I have an error message : "Connection failure using gaming runtime services. Please install the Xbox Application and connect".

Obviously, the Xbox app is already installed. If I cancel, I have the error code 0x800701F4 and it purpose to install Xbox Application and the Identity Provider.

It seems it's a similar issue discovered 3 years ago but not resolved...

I already googled but nothing helped unfortunately.

We have confirmed that the problem has been fixed; try updating from the Microsoft Store library.
Xbox Accessory App version 2402.2401.17005.0
