Unable to log-in to standard user account.

Original Title: Having Problems logging on to user account!

I have an issue where I can't log in to any other user accounts except the administrator.  I tried several solutions restoring the system, added several other user accounts and nothing works.  When I click on another account it goes thru the log on process but then it stops and logs me off.

Can someone please help me with a solution to this?

Thank you,

Hi,

Let’s try these steps and check if it helps.

Method 1

Startup programs do not run in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed, follow the steps to boot the computer in safe mode.

a. Restart the computer.

b. Start tapping F8 key.

Additionally, also make sure that ‘User Profile Service is started and running.

a. Click on Start-Run, type "services.msc", the click on OK.

b. When the Services window loads, navigate to the "User Profile Service", the double click on it to open it.

c. Make sure the "Startup Type" says "Automatic". If it doesn't, use the drop down menu to change it.
