Unable to Install Windows on Dell Inspiron 1525

Dear team,

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop which recently got stopped with BLUE SCREEN ERROR. Then I tried to Install Windows 10 replacing Windows 7 via Bootable USB where it was just restarting again and again but could not get the options.

After many tries it started to Install and I could format C-Drive but it did not proceed further and got the error message "0xc0000428 - The digital signature for this file couldn't be verified".

Checking on the Internet I found that it could be disabled in the Advanced Options by selecting F8 key; which unfortunately stopped working after the C-Drive format.

Sometimes I used to get the following error "0xc000000f - The boot selection failed because device is inaccessible".

Apart from the above errors I also got the following after diagnosing: "Optical Drive 0 - Self test spindle test failed Error Code-2000-0147" and "Memory - integrity test failed Error Code 2000-0123".

Know that DVD drive isn't working so that to try with Bootable Disc.

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

The Dell Inspiron 1525 is not compatible with Windows 10, you will not be able to get chipset drivers, video drivers or network drivers for Windows 10 on that laptop.

You should not install Windows 10 on that laptop, you will experience a lot of hardware issues, blue screens and you will not be able to connect to the Internet if you install Windows 10, the best option is to install Windows 7 back on that laptop, that will be the most compatible operating system
