Q: Unable to install updates from Windows, getting error: 80010108

Orginal title: Whenever I try to install any update, it displays the error-80010108? Even the Windows update troubleshooter is not able to fix the problem?

My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

2.       Have you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

3.       What is the exact error code or error message?

 

I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Method 2:

Place the computer in clean boot state and then check whether it helps.

The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.


Is the most recent Version of the Windows Update Agent (WUA) installed ?


The error may indicate an issue with the ActiveX component of the WUA, either it's an older Version that no longer works with the update servers or security software is interfering with it.
