Unable to Install iCloud App in Windows 10

I used the Microsoft Store to get the iCloud app for Windows 10 for my new laptop. According to the Microsoft Store, I "own" the app, but when I attempt to install the app on my computer, I get the message in the photograph below. I am logged into Microsoft and am unsure why it is not installing on this device. Anyone know a workaround? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

To have clarity on this issue and guide you accordingly, kindly help us with the following information.

  • Are you able to install other apps from Store?

The issue could be due to the corrupt Store cache.  Ideally, when you click on the ellipsis (3 dots) next to the Install option, you should get an option Install on this device. You may want to check the same.

However, if the issue persists, I suggest you to Reset the Microsoft Store cache and see if it helps.

  • Sign out of Microsoft Store and exit the Store.

  • Press ‘Windows + R’ keys on the keyboard together to open the Run dialog box and type the following into the Run box: wsreset.exe

  • Wait until the command is executed and Store launches automatically.

  • Once the Store is launched, sign-in into the same to see if it works.

Signing out of Microsoft Store, running wsreset.exe and entering the store again did not solve the problem.

The 'Trouble pushing an app or game to a device' does not solve the problem either.

Other ideas.
