Unable to burn pictures on to a CD in Windows 10

Old title: Burning pictures on a CD

Ever since I've downloaded the new Windows 10 from Windows 7 I can't burn my photo's to a CD or I can't play DVD's.. Every time I put a disc in the driver it doesn't kick in.. Is there a setting or something I need to do? I've never had this problem or any since downloading Windows 10

How you're trying to Burn the disc?

Are your Using Windows Media Player or any third party software to Burn the disc?

Did you get any error while burning the Photos to CD?

Does DVD's not getting detected on Windows 10 or any problem while playing the disc?

Give us the above information to assist you in this regard.

I used to have window 7 and know I have windows 10. I cant burn my videos from my laptop onto a cd please can you help me

I have the list I want to burn on a disc and then it comes up with u have to change your format. I don't know what they mean by that and how to do it.

I put any disc in the computer won't even kick in or do anything.. Doesn't matter if its a DVD or CD with pictures on it won't do anything the disc just sits inside the tray and doesn't kick in like my old Windows 7 which worked great loading or down loading.. I'm still having issues with this Windows 10

I'm getting so upset with all this!! I come from old skool and if its working? You don't fix it!!!! I don't know why you have to keep upgrading this stuff when it works right? This new generation can't leave your hands off stuff if it works right! Back in the day you got your fingers wacked damn good with an oak stick if you touched anything! It should be the same today, I had NO problems with Windows 7 and really regret even down loading this Windows 10 that screwed everything up! I could careless about anything fancy or different, as long as it works for me I DO NOT care!

I can no longer burn pictures to disks since I "updated" to your Window 10 ( nor can I any longer able to open any zip files attached to e:mails sent to me.

When trying to burn the pictures, the computer says, it is unable to finish the "last step"

I'm with you Greg. And why do they keep answering your question with more questions. They don't get it. You put the cd in the disc drive and nothing happens. How difficult is that to understand. NOTHING HAPPENS

I am unable to burn cd's with my latest windows 10 update, i can read cd's but can't burn with windows or Nero or any other program.

my computer says no cd not empty or not compatibel.

I tried almost everything.

I hate this please come with a solution.

I'm so frustrated

I have 3 different computers with the same windows version.

HI I could not get media player to work for me , so I purchased a product called DVD photo slide show. I've used this after I scanned all the photos I had from past generations to present and have made 2 celebrations of life DVD and numerous others so I could share the DVD with other family members.
