Turning off the overflow on taskbar

The option disappeared like 1-2 days ago and the horrible ... is back.

How do I remove it permanently? The option "Show or hide icons that appear in the system tray overflow menu" is found in setting search but does not display.

I WANT THE ... OWERFLOW DISAPPEAR. Windows is so botched. I will buy mac again.

Hello,

When the taskbar overflow menu pops up, that's because you either have too many apps pinned to your taskbar and you don't have a wide enough screen to fit then, or you have too many system tray icons on your taskbar, which take up space on the taskbar, and cause the taskbar icons to cram, or it's a combination of both.

The first thing to try would be to unpin some of the apps that you don't really use, and move the system tray icons that you don't need to the hidden menu.

Hope this helps and Happy Holidays!
