Trying to change my usb system file to Fat32

i went to the disk management and right clicked on my usb flash drive and i went to the file system to change the format, it only gives me exfat and ntfs, it was fat32 but i used rufus to install windows on it but i didn't need it, but when i went to format it, it doesn't give me the option to go back to fat32 file system, can anyone help?
Hi Teknosfinest

Is your USB flash drive 64GB or greater in size?

If so, Windows will not provide you the option to format that to FAT32 . . .

You will need to use a 3rd party utility like the Free version of AOMEI Partition Assistant to format that to FAT32:

Hi Teknosfinest

Yes, this is normal that is a 64GB flash drive, they always show up as 57GB, that is because of the difference between the way Windows and drive manufacturers calculate drive sizes, one uses a multiplier of 1024 and the other uses 1000

AOMEI will have no problem formatting that drive to FAT32 . . .

Hi Teknosfinest

The only thing in AOMEI that is not intuitive is after you choose an action, you must click 'Apply' at the top left of that application . . .

Right click the partition on that drive in AOMEI and choose 'Delete Partition'

Then at the top left of AOMEI click Apply and confirm that action

When that completes, right click the unallocated Space on that flash drive and choose 'Crate Partition'

Set the file system to FAT32 and click OK

Then click 'Apply' at the top left of AOMEI and confirm that action

That's It!
