Trio windows 10.1 tablet touch screen driver

Hi everyone!

I recently install windows 10 to my trio windows tablet. But now I am having problem with my touch screen tablet. Everything else is working but my touch screen was inverted like when I touch it on the right side of the screen it will response on the left side. It really bugs me a lot and can't use this device as a typical tablet. I tried to contact Trio support but they said all of their tablet drivers are generic and provided by windows and they don't have. drivers for this tab. If you can help me provide a touch screen driver for this device it will be a big help for me and other having this problem.

I'll post my touch screen hardware Id here so you can help me find the driver for this tablet:

Device Description: KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device

Thanks in advance!

Answer

Thank you for getting back to us. There is possibility that the driver installed in the computer is not compatible with the Windows Update. Or, it is not properly configured. In line with this, the manufacturer should provide the driver to communicate with the latest Windows. To help with this, please follow these steps:

  1. Right click on Start and choose Device Manager.
  2. On Device Manager, look expand Human Interface Devices.
  3. Right click on HID-compliant touch screen and Uninstall.
  4. Restart the computer. The Windows will automatically install the best driver for your touchscreen when it restarts.
