Transferring pictures from Kodak EasyShare to Windows Photo Gallery. During the transfer process the pictures were lost on both programs. Cannot locate System Restore, Recycle Bin, Some folders

I have Windows Vista.  I have been using Kodak EasyShare software to store my pictures.  I looked into using Windows Photo Gallery and I liked the program so I transferred my pictures from Kodak to Windows.  After that was complete,  I tried some functions on Windows and liked the program.  I deleted Kodak and proceeded to send some pictures to print at Walgreens.  When doing this, they were not transferring to Walgreens (I have used this process alot, very familiar with it).  At this point, the pictures on Windows Photo disappeared!  The problem now is...I cannot RESTORE KODAK and I cannot FIND the pictures that were on Windows!  This is a problem because there were about 100 pictures stored at Kodak (all of them transferred to Windows as well).  Has anyone been faced with these situations before? Thank you for your response.  Susan M_902

Digital image library/editing software just accesses the photos
you have saved in folders on your hard drive.

More than likely, your photos are saved in your Pictures folder.

If you are referring to photos you uploaded to a website they are
probably still there and you can download/copy them again.
